About Counselling

What Is Counselling?
Counselling is a confidential and professional relationship, which provides a safe, non-judgemental and supportive environment in which to address your concerns.
Counselling appointments are usually weekly and last around 1 hour.
How Can Counselling Help?
We all go through periods when life is tough and we struggle to cope, counselling can help by:

·        Helping to move forward from painful thoughts and feelings, which may have been with you for a long time.

·        Helping to deal more effectively with difficult situations or coping with changes in their lives.

·        Helping to explore unused potential and look at ways to give life more meaning, or simply try to make sense of life.

Counselling may be able to help with:

·     Anxiety

·     Depression

·     Relationship Difficulties

·     Divorce

·     Betrayal

·     Bullying

·     Bereavement or Loss

·     Pet Bereavement or Loss

·     Eating Disorders

·     Abuse

·     Termination/Miscarriage

Of course, what you’re going through may not seem to fit into any list, but counselling may still be able to help you make sense of what is troubling you.
