Jane Keenan is a member of the British
Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and works according to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice.
Jane has been checked by the Criminal Records
Bureau (Enhanced Disclosure).
Jane is a qualified Integrative Counsellor and
draws on the major theoretical approaches to counselling and psychotherapy: Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy, to suit each client's needs. Jane's counselling approach fuses life experience,
compassion, a sound theoretical grounding and common-sense. Jane has worked
as a counsellor in the voluntary sector and a local college and continues to work as a volunteer counsellor for a local
voluntary agency. Jane has worked with clients experiencing a wide range of issues, including loss and bereavement,
anxiety, relationship problems, low self esteem, depression, panic attacks, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and eating
disorders. It is very important to find a counsellor with whom you feel comfortable and relaxed: please feel free to contact Jane
